Project Description
We are deeply committed to sharing our research and scientific findings not only within the specialist community, but also with the general public.
To this end, the central outreach project
Project Ö is an integral and important part of our CRC.
We organize and support various activities throughout the duration of the CRC, such as public lectures and student project weeks.
A fortunate coincidence provided a particularly large number of opportunities for outreach activities in 2023. As part of the Science Year
Our Universe, we were involved in numerous activities and events, like the
MS Wissenschaft,
„Universe on Tour“ and Science Year related activities in Bochum .
One of the main tasks of the outreach project will enter the hot phase in 2024: in cooperation with the Bochum Planetarium, we are creating a
Planetarium Show in which we will present the central topics of our CRC to the general public.
The premiere is planned for early 2025.
